God is Gracious

Matthew 18:10.
"Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven."

I am thankful this evening for God's watch care for us. This evening what a source of major irritation for my son's girlfriend was in hind sight a blessing.
She called me around 6 this evening upset because she was stranded. Her car had just quit on her. She had already had a rough day. Her financial aid at college hasn't been verified for the summer semester. Classes start tomorrow.

The job that she left on maternity leave is no longer available for her. Because for 3 months prior to Bradley's birth she was put on bed rest, the supervisor terminate her with the promise of her job back when her Dr. released her for work again. Human Resources for the company is blocking the rehire.

Then on top of it all her car breaks down. She had been to a friend's home to pick up some books for the classes she plans on taking. Coming back to pick up Bradley she was ready to head down the mountain. When she decided to turn on the road that would take her out to see the mobile home that my son and she are remodeling. As soon as she turned her car lost power and died. If she had not turned within just a few hundred feet she would have been headed down the steep part of the mountain.
God was gracious in His timing and protection. She could have been hurt very badly or killed. There was accident on this same mountain Monday evening leaving 6 people seriously injured.

The job situation is a matter of prayer. That job may not be the one God wants for her now. It was in a very dangerous part of the city. Plus the fact of going to college and being a young mother is taxing enough. God maybe saying that is just too much right now.

She believes the financial aide issue will soon be resolved. God will take care of everything in His time. Pray for her . I praise God for His watch care over all of us.

Blessings
Linda

Your comments are so welcome. Just make sure your comments are ones that you wouldn't mind that Mother read. I do promise not to invite her to read them though.
