About to be a Grandmother

I am about to be a Grandmother any day now. I am getting so anxious and excited. My youngest son and his girlfriend are expecting a son any day. They will hopefully marry soon afterwards. Because of some uncertainity of paternity there will be a DNA test performed.

I believe the Baby is my son's. I have seen a real change in his girl friend and that for the better. She has told me of getting back into Church and of her conviction of the things that had been going on in her life when these things took place. She has made a 180 degree turn around.

It took me sometime before I could deal with the situation. However for the last couple of months, we have settled our differences. We have started our relationship anew. We have been open and honest with one another. I have spent some time with her the past few weeks. I have taken her for the last 2 dr.'s appointments.

It has been the grace of God that has worked in my life and hers. In the beginning, I didn't think I could do it. However God has given me a love for this young lady. I can tell her that I love her.

If the baby doesn't come before. She goes into the hospital midnight Tuesday night to be induced. Bradley Jackson Holt should arrive sometime Wednesday. I can't wait to meet him and hold him in my arms. His other Grandmother and I are so ready! I hope he is not torn in half. lol

Your comments are so welcome. Just make sure your comments are ones that you wouldn't mind that Mother read. I do promise not to invite her to read them though.
